Second harmonic generation in amorphous silicon-on-silica metamaterial

چکیده
We demonstrate second harmonic generation by using an amorphous silicon metamaterial fabricated on the tip of optical fiber that collects generated light. The is a double-chevron array supports closed-mode resonance for fundamental wavelength at 1510 nm with quality factor 30. normalized resonant conversion efficiency calculated per intensity and square interaction length ?10?11 W?1, which exceeds previously achieved value two orders magnitude.
